This Sacrament confers the Grace of strengthening, peace, and courage to overcome the difficulties that come with serious illness. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit, renewing trust and faith in God.
Who Can Receive This Sacrament?
Anointing of the Sick can be received by someone who is suffering from a major illness or disease, who will undergo a serious operation, or whose health is frail due to old age.
