Adults

Go Deeper in Your Faith

Faith formation doesn’t end at Confirmation — it’s a lifelong friendship with God that keeps growing. To inspire you to continue growing in your faith, Holy Trinity Parish offers a great diversity of formation opportunities for adults: nationally-known speakers, small group Scripture studies, communities that meet in homes, and more. Wherever you are on the road, there’s a next step here for you.

Ways to Grow

Speakers Series

Each year, Holy Trinity brings in nationally-known speakers to inspire us to look more deeply at what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Last year alone, over 2,000 parishioners came out to hear the various speakers.

Scripture Study

Throughout the year we offer small group studies of Scripture. A group is typically a couple dozen people, and sessions generally run for six weeks — a great way to dig into the Word. Weekly groups meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Adult Confirmation Classes

A joyful, interactive 12-week journey for Catholics to complete their full initiation into the Church. The top reason adults hesitate is a fear of not knowing enough — please don’t let that stop you. That’s what we’re here for.

Parent Sessions

Our weekly Faith Formation program for youth incorporates five special sessions for adults — parents, guardians, and grandparents — to encourage lifelong learning and growth in our Catholic faith.

Partners in Faith

Family-based, community-oriented formation connecting Mass, faith, and life experiences as parents and children gather in interactive 1½-hour sessions, twice a month, August–May, in the Education Center. Learn more.

Small Christian Communities

Groups of 8–12 adults or families who come together, usually in each other’s homes, to share God’s story through Sacred Scripture — building up the parish community and strengthening the life and mission of the parish.

Alpha: Explore Life's Biggest Questions

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment — a ten-week course run in churches, coffee shops, and homes worldwide. Each session pairs a talk on one of life’s big questions with good conversation, where there are no “right or wrong answers.” Alpha welcomes people who might not call themselves Christians, and Christians who want to deepen their relationship with Christ alike.

Interested in Becoming Catholic?

The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) welcomes questions about what it means to be Catholic — and it’s also a great opportunity for baptized Catholics who have not received Confirmation. Contact our Faith Formation Ministry at 530.677.3234, option 5, or ffm@holytrinityparish.org.
